What is 

"One Book, One World"?

I'd like to invite you to join "One Book, One World" (1B1W), a global book club! A book has been chosen, The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate, to read aloud to your students during a set 6-week period. During that time you may try to make as many global connections as possible. It's up to each teacher to decide how much time he/she would like to focus on the project, as well as how involved he/she would like to be. Some teachers may choose to connect with just one class, while others may want to connect with as many as possible. The details are up to you! The simple goal is global collaboration, which is a huge necessity in showing our students that they are part of something bigger than themselves.
